My roommate is currently having this issue if anyone is still around....
he is having an extremely difficult time within our position as we type emails very often and the capital "C" will intermittently work but most of the time it will not.
Unfortunately, he is blind and did not catch this for a long time as his screen reader JAWS was still repeating to him that the keystroke for "C" was made, but it was not there for him when he highlighted the full word, and the screen reader spelled it back to him without the needed "C" no matter the position in the word. he is having to use a little "c" in place but most of our acronyms are in capitol as well as names/locations and addresses, ect.....
he uses Perfect Keyboard, JAWS and a little bit of a desktop monitor (I can't remember the application at the moment) just to center his mouse cursor. This issue is happening no matter what keyboard is connected, but it does work on the laptop keyboard... it is a work laptop, dell Inspiron, with Avaya softphone, notepad++, and office applications. I don't think there is anything within our company software that could interfere with this.
has not always been happening either! just randomly, intermittent and extremely frustrating as one could imagine.
Any advice, Tips, resources? anyone we could contact and maybe have on the phone with us to walk through? hes the brains of the operation but I help visually.. I just CANNOT seem to find the answer within the great-googly-moogilie.....
