    • We are removing the battery to avoid the possibility of an electrical discharge when working with this system.

    • Flip device on its back displaying the battery.

    • Place a finger on both latches and push outwards.

    • Grab by the lip and pull upwards to remove battery.

    • Flip device and open.

    • Locate the keyboard lining (between the black and silver).

    • Place your spudger between the keyboard lining behind the x icon and home keys and pull up.

    • Lift up on latch.
