  1. HP ZBOOK 15 G5 LCD Replacement, Opening the Bottom Panel: étape 1, image 1 de 1

    • Find the bottom panel locking mechanism

    • Move the switch to the right to unlock and slide it in a downwards fashion

    • Slide the battery latches to the right to loosen the battery

    • Remove the battery and place it to the side

    • Remove the keyboard screws

    • Remove these screws with a T8 screwdriver

    • Remove these screws with a philips screwdriver

    • Once they are removed, carefully lift up the bottom case

    • Unscrew SSD screw and slide the SSD out

    • Remove these screws and place the LCD connector cover to the side

    • Disconnect all of the motherboard connectors

    • Unscrew the 6 LCD screws to the top left and right

    • Once removed, carefully remove the LCD

    • Tip: Remove two screws from each side and then place the laptop on it's side. Unscrew the final two and separate the LCD and Top Case

    • Screw the new LCD in and make sure to connect all of the LCD connectors

    • Screw the bottom case back onto the laptop

    • Connect the battery and put the battery cover back into place
