If you are having issue with your RAM, this guide will walk you through replacing the parts. The only tool needed is a PH1 Philips head screwdriver.

    • Ensure that your laptop is turned off and the battery has been removed

    • Flip over your laptop where the battery side is closest to you.

    • Unscrew the singlular screw in plate with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • The screw does not come all the way out of the plastic plating, instead there is a protector that keeps it in place for you even when fully unscrewed.

    • To remove the RAM sticks, put your thumbs on the metal pins and push outwards.

    • Once pushed outwards, the first RAM stick will pop up at an angle

    • After the RAM is at an angle, you can now remove that stick of RAM and repeat the process to the second stick of RAM.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
