| + | [* black] Peel the silver tape off of the black tape. |
| + | [* black] (carefully) Remove the black tape at the bottom starting from the right the ribbon cable to power the backlight is at the bottom left. Be sure not to tear it in the process. |
| + | [* black] Then disconnect the backlight ribbon cable. |
| + | [* black] carefully remove the backlight from the screen assembly. needs to be gently pried from the metal frame. see third pic for hint. |
