Start with your Roomba upside down, with the wheels facing up.

Using a JIS driver in #1 size remove the two 15mm screws holding the battery cover in place.

I am not trying to be negative here, but if someone needed this guide to understand that a bad battery needed to be replaced, shouldn’t you put that they would need a new battery? According to your directions, they do not need a new battery. As a result, they are going to take out their battery, and put the old one back in. The problem remains. I have never written a guide, so maybe you can only choose parts from iFixit and that is why you did not have one listed in the parts needed, but I would have thought it would have been in the directions.
Anyhow, the guide is still appreciated… please consider this only as constructive feedback to help enhance the product.
Not a very useful comment Nathan - the clue is in the title of the article. If someone wants to replace the battery in their smoke alarm.... it is kinda implicit that 'replacing it' doesn't mean taking the old one out and putting the same one back in.
