Use this guide if the battery of your Roomba 880 has stopped functioning, or is not working at complete capacity. This could be due to a faulty or damaged battery, overuse or exposure to heat and water. The battery is fairly easy to replace so let's tackle this together.

I am not trying to be negative here, but if someone needed this guide to understand that a bad battery needed to be replaced, shouldn’t you put that they would need a new battery? According to your directions, they do not need a new battery. As a result, they are going to take out their battery, and put the old one back in. The problem remains. I have never written a guide, so maybe you can only choose parts from iFixit and that is why you did not have one listed in the parts needed, but I would have thought it would have been in the directions.

Anyhow, the guide is still appreciated… please consider this only as constructive feedback to help enhance the product.

Not a very useful comment Nathan - the clue is in the title of the article. If someone wants to replace the battery in their smoke alarm.... it is kinda implicit that 'replacing it' doesn't mean taking the old one out and putting the same one back in.
