Remove the drive belt

Slip the belt off the drum.
Don't let the belt drag on the ground if you need to reinstall it as you might damage it.
During reassembly, make sure the smooth side of the belt is facing out and the grooved side of the belt is against the drum.
Pull the belt snug against the drum when reinstalling.
