Remove the USB‑C port cover

  • Throughout this repair, keep track of each screw and make sure it goes back exactly where it came from.

  • While the Pixel 8 Pro uses Torx Plus screws, standard Torx bits will also work. Make sure to apply constant, downward force to prevent stripping.

  • Use a T3 Torx screwdriver to remove the two 5 mm‑long 3IP Torx Plus screws securing the USB‑C port cover.

  • Remove the cover.

Retira la cubierta del puerto USB‑C

Durante esta reparación, realiza un seguimiento de cada tornillo y asegúrate de que regrese exactamente al lugar de donde vino.

Si bien el Pixel 8 Pro usa tornillos Torx Plus, las puntas Torx estándar también funcionarán. Asegúrate de aplicar una fuerza constante hacia abajo para evitar que se desprenda.
