You can see where they are connected to on Step 5 (second image) of this guide; Remplacement de la batterie du Bose SoundLink Color
Plus d'informationI have seen this kind of problem a few times and diagnosed the screen to find no faults with it. In my experience this is caused by the memory (or storage) on the device being faulty, full or close to capacity. Faulty - As your phone is a iPhone 5s, then it is relatively old (around 4 years old), the phone stores it's data on something called solid state memory, 4 years ago the technology for solid state memory was not good compared to now. The MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of the memory was quite low initially and over-usage promoted the MTBF to become shorter by constantly using read/write cycles of the memory. Unfortunately this causes things like data corruption and bad sectors, which ultimately cause slowness and eventually total failure, it is inevitable. Full or close to capacity - If the phone is not running on the latest firmware then your phone may be trying to download the latest firmware updates. If there is no room for the update the phone will constantly recycle the last block of memory...
Plus d'informationThere is meant to be a rubberised seal between the glass and the digitizer, I'm guessing when you removed the glass that came off with it. The addition of the seal also acts as a spacer between the glass and the digitizer so that the problem you are having does not appear.
Plus d'informationvertical stripes are mostly caused by the ribbon cable (from mobo to screen) being damaged, check down the cable for abrasions, you could also try cleaning the gold contacts on the cable or the port on the motherboard where it plugs into, some iso alcohol would do the trick.
Plus d'informationHi Kieron, The antenna on these things is bizarrely the back of the casing from what i could see when i dismantled one of these a few months ago. If you look at the pictures in step 13 of the tear down guide: Nokia N8 Teardown The copper plated edges around the casing make contact with the copper plated PCB on the motherboard. As with most phone antenna's they have an inductor, generally to reduce call noise, but if it falls off or becomes damaged it will break the circuit and you will not get barely any signal, check if its still in tact. In Step 15 you can see it to the bottom left of the turquoise outlined chip
Plus d'informationThis happens when the contacts between the screen connector and logic board are not seated correctly. When you first switched it on and you saw the "rainbow" screen; this is a tell-tale sign that the screen is not connected right. Inspect the connectors on both the logic board and the screen. The connector for the screen is shown in step 30 of this guide: Remplacement de l'écran de l'iPhone 4 I'm not saying you were careless but you have possibly damaged a connector pin, i did this once on an iphone3GS and experienced the same problem. The reason it is getting hot is that there is a short or a loose connection between the two and causing the components to over-work inducing heat, in some cases they may have even become damaged.
Plus d'informationTake the case apart following this guide: Remplacement de l'enceinte de l'iPhone 4 When you get to step 24 clean all the contacts for the speaker, ensure there is no obstructions, blow all the dust out (there will be a lot) then reseat them and re-assemble.
Plus d'informationdismantle it and find out if it is connected properly? iPhone 3GS Teardown look for the 6 and follow the cable upwards, unscrew that. then there is a screw on the side that holds it in place.
Plus d'informationplug it into iTunes, it may need a carrier update.
Plus d'informationStep 13: iPhone 4 Teardown you will need to also find somewhere to place the extra SIM holder inside the phones case, with minimal room, this could be difficult. This will not be easy. Alternatively, you could have the cable hanging out of your phone (which i assume is the way they have designed it?) shown here: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.ph... you could tuck it into a phone case?
