It worked!! Just followed the guide, took my time and was patient. Realized half way through that I had the 4G version instead of the Wi-Fi version of the iPad 3 (thanks mom…sheesh) Took a bit of doing but got everything out, got the new battery in…had to remove the headphone jack board along the top of the iPad to get the 3 connector pins to fit back into the logic board and futzed for half an hour to get one screw back in…but it worked. Everything came back together easily and plugged it in and it powered up no problem!!! So jazzed!!
Need to update this instruction because the new adhesive strips I used for my iPad3 4G repair was different than what is shown in this guide. Granted, it’s pretty easy to figure out.
