I love to repair things.

Things I repaired:

32 in Goodmans TV that I found on the side of the street. I repaired this by replacing the primary PFC capacitor on the PSU board. The original capacitor was so bad that it rattled when shook.

32 in Bush tv that I was given for free that had a bad backlight driver. I got this to work by bypassing the backlight driver entirely by using 2 boost convertor modules, one for each LED strip. That worked out better than expected. As the saying goes "If it is stupid but it works, it isn't stupid"

Galaxy s7 edge that had a busted display and shattered back glass. I decided to fix this as a challenge for myself.

Galaxy s6 that I finally got around to repairing by swapping out the old battery and home button.

Galaxy note 9 that needed a new battery and fingerprint sensor. I happily voided the warranty on that one!

Galaxy s9 that I bought off of a car boot sale for £10. It needed a new display and back glass.

A PS3 that had a broken trace from putting a long screw in a short hole (my idiotic mistake). I hope to never do that again...

LG 5.1ch surround DVD receiver that had bulged secondary capacitors on the PSU board. This prevented the amplifier portion from starting up.
