Whoa...lemme get this straight, you know your amp is 110v and you plugged it into a 220v on purpose? Now you're surprised it doesn't turn on? That little black thing attached to the heatsink is a power transistor (To 220 I believe) and it has obviously seen a massive overvoltage and is fried…I’d start with that, but don’t be surprised if there’s more that needs to be replaced. That heatsink is strictly for the power transistor as they get very hot. Good luck, you may need it…
Plus d'informationNo, that won’t work because it won’t have the proper interface, sorry but there’s a bit more to it than that. You will need to get a wireless card for your computer that plugs into an available PCI or PCIe slot on the MB.
Plus d'informationHi Follow the instructions listed here - https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c01509566 - there’s usually a tag on the back/bottom of notebooks that list the model #, but if you can’t find it, the instructions above will have that info for you.
Plus d'informationHi See my answer here Why is my panasonic viera plasma tv have half screen black Good luck Dave
Plus d'informationHi This can be fixed, I hope…as long as it’s only the connectors. My Panny Plasma did this after I cleaned it and gave it to my sister when I bought a new TV and a week later it had the split screen with half black. Lots of research later, I found out that the TV has 2 boards that control half the screen each and the connectors between them are no longer working properly, lets fix them shall we? Place the TV face down on a soft surface. Remove all phillips head screws around the perimeter of the TV. There are also some screws around the edges of the connections panel in the middle of your TV, remove them. The back panel should be able to be lifted off carefully, nothing is connected to it. This is what it should look like (similar, may be slightly different) It’s probably just as filthy too… CLEAN IT, I’ll wait… (Danger, allow 24hrs for capacitors to discharge before working inside TV) (Caution - wear an antistatic wrist strap while working inside TV) I used a vacuum cleaner with carbon fiber bristle brush...
Plus d'informationYes it is crucial, but it is repairable. It needs to be re-soldered into position on its contacts, but the orientation is also important, it must go back on in the same way it was before it came off. Look at the other similar part (just to the left in the picture) and see if it has any markings on it that orient the part. It may also be possible to see the orientation from looking at the part that fell off, look at the bottom contacts and see if there is any way the solder break(s) look like they fit the contact points on the motherboard contacts. You may be able to tell just by trying to re-fit the part onto it's contacts and see if there's only one way it fits into the broken solder points properly. Good luck, and be careful about static, use anti-static measures whenever you work with electronic parts.
Plus d'informationThis is probably not the issue, it's usually a software issue. Either the setting for "Jack detection" is turned off in the sound card options, or the sound card drivers may need to be reinstalled (or updated and reinstalled). You can find the sound options in the Control Panel of whatever Operating System you are using.
Plus d'informationYou seem to forget the single most important thing to do while working with these types of electronic devices...STAY GROUNDED!! The very first thing a person MUST do before touching a single thing is to wear an anti-static wrist strap and connect it to a metal part of the machine you're working on. Static discharge is the NUMBER 1 killer of electronic parts! Even after you've removed your graphics card from the machine, STAY GROUNDED, and stay that way throughout the entire process.
