2011 Altima Mass Airflow Sensor service engine code

I replaced the mass airflow sensor in my 2011 Altima, but I'm still getting the same service engine code. The sensor was brand new and only in the car for 10 miles when the code came up again.

Please help!

Had this problem for two years, 3 MAF sensors and 4 mechanics later it turns out it was a dirty throttle body that was not letting the air intake to close all the way thus leading to a MAF code. About 700 bucks later its like new again and never had the problem since.

I tried everything. Replaced the MAF sensor(twice), had the ECM reprogrammed, cleaned the throttle body. The light kept coming back on. My issue was solved by getting the ECM reprogrammed with the original MAF sensor. You can’t get one from a parts store.

I replaced mine at the dealership and light is back on not even 2 years later! Any suggestions on what it could be? I spent $600 replacing it with them and only came with a 1 year warranty!

Tech notes Before replacing the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, try replacing the air filter and cleaning the MAF sensor with low compress air or MAF sensor cleaner. Reset code and drive vehicle. If the code comes back, it may be necessary to replaced the MAF sensor. There is a factory service bulletin for the following Nissan Models: 2011-2012 Nissan Altima Sedan If the P0101 code is set and there are no drivability problems, the factory service bulletin suggests reprogramming the Engine Control Module (ECM) to repair the problem.
