@yeseniasep67448 that will totally depend on where you are located and if this is still use for any kind of patient care. If so, you know it will get expensive because of BioMed regulations etc. In theory, you can only use those that are "certified" to work on this type of equipment. If this is not used for patient care etc. You could get this fixed by any decent HVAC technician or general electrician. You could probably even do it yourself. After all, iFixit is trying to empower YOU to fix your own devices :-)

Oh. I'm a massage therapist. I want to use it to heat up towels and hot stones. I would like to fix it myself. I bought it used, I saw it was working, however when I got home I realized the bottom cabinet wasn't heating, and it smelled bad. Kind of like pancake syrup.

I live in South Houston, TX.

@yeseniasep67448 this "it smelled bad. Kind of like pancake syrup." Is usually caused by a bad heating element. Bottom elements catch a lot of dust, debris etc. and all that gets caked on this. Read through the warming cabinet maintenance guide which you can find under the Documents heading on this page Steris AMSCO Warming Cabinet

I'll talk to my BioMed guys tomorrow and see if I can get the one for your specific model. Let's see if we can't get yours fixed.
