Identification numbers and qr codes

I'm working on what I believe to be a Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, but there are no identifying numbers. No FCC ID, no model number, nothing.... everything this is marked by QR code it appears.

I think its the 7th generation, it looks different than the teardown guide for the HD 10 on here. It has some type of RF sticker on the plastic backing. The battery looks like two combined lithium batteries enshrouded in a metal backing that the battery is glued to and can be safely unscrewed without damage to the battery. The power and volume buttons are on the top along with the camera at the center. Its different than any that I've seen so far. Best I can tell after asking a friend is that the QR codes send a message back to Amazon HQ and brick the device when a consumer QR reader attempts to read it.

If I hold the power button it beeps, but the LCD was damaged before i opened it up so I have no clue what it is doing. That RF looking sticker was plum with the little black square at the end near the battery. Not sure what those are its the first time i've ever come across them in a tablet. I'm hoping it isn't some type of thing that will brick the tablet just by opening it.

I'm still confused about its identity, but thank you for the resource. The link says the power and volume buttons are on the side, yet they seem to be on the top. In the picture they provide they have the tablet shown sideways for fullscreen view I wonder if my concept of top is their side.

Hi @ntsparadise ,

Can't read it too well from your pictures, but can you "Google" the battery part number just to see what suppliers of the battery are saying about it, e.g. perhaps that is is suitable for a Kindle (insert model). That may be a way to find out.
