I posted about this phone earlier this year I believe, the motherboard was fried so I took a motherboard out of a trashed phone and replaced it. The phone seems to disconnect from data and won’t work but 2 times a day other than being on wifi. When clicking anything like messages or something in settings it freezes and doesn’t go anywhere. Anyone have any idea why it’s acting like this?

Apple is very against self repairs, my guess would be your issue is due to it being an ‘unauthorized’ repair. I would suggest taking it to an apple certified repair shop (or at least a repair shop that knows how to correctly program the board and parts)

It's not a big issue as the phone is being used as an extra, but Im not spending $500+ to have a shop send it to apple just to have Apple tell me it's not the right motherboard and I get in trouble for it.. Point of the post was to get something or someone's opinion on the issue, not be told to send it to apple.. lol But thanks for replying.
