Pry up the CMOS battery

Slide an opening pick under the CMOS battery.
Use your pick to pry up the CMOS battery from the motherboard and separate the adhesive securing it.
If the battery feels stuck, apply a heated iOpener to the battery for 30 seconds to soften the adhesive.
