Anbernic RG35XX Screen Glitch or Unresponsive

Is your Anbernic RG35XX screen glitching or frozen on the home screen? Use this troubleshooting guide to help diagnose why.

If the system won’t turn on, there is a high possibility that it needs to be charged.

• Plug in a USB-C cable to the charging port located at the bottom of your device.
• The Anbernic shows a bright yellow light when charging, if it does not turn on after 10-20 seconds, consider getting a new or different cord

If the power/battery-status light does not turn on, then there’s most likely an issue with the battery or motherboard.

The battery may have failed due to issues such like unusual heat during charging, device not charging properly, or battery swelling.

  • Micro SD card reader
  • Dual Card Setup
    • 1 32gb SD Card (OS)
    • 1 64 GB SD Card
  • MiniTool Partition Wizard
  • Rufus
  • 7zip

If your screen glitching or unresponsive, you might need to replace the screen.

If no other solution seems to work, it is likely that the motherboard is the issue.
