CD Player Won't Eject/Close

The CD port doesn't open when you push the button, or doesn't close when you push it in.

Disk Is Jammed

If the disk is placed incorrectly in the player, the player will not operate correctly. If the player doesn't close, this is most likely the reason. To fix this problem you can slide the CD player out and adjust the placement of the disk so that it sits correctly in the disk holder.

Broken Part In CD Player

If the player doesn't eject a part may be broken or lose. If the disk holder only ejects halfway and stops then that is most likely the reason.

Ejector Button Broken

If nothing happens when you push the ejector button on the CD player then your problem is most likely a faulty button.

Computer Won’t Turn On

The computer doesn't charge, cannot hold a charge or computer is very slow.

Dead Battery

If the battery will not hold a charge when it is plugged in then it will need to be replaced.

Charging Port

A faulty charging port can cause the cord to not connect properly causing the battery to not charge and the computer not turning on.

The computer doesn't charge, cannot hold a charge or computer is very slow.

Battery Is Old Or Used

If you charge a battery fully and keep it plugged in it can cause the battery to not hold a charge as well as it used to. If this has been a repeated action then you may need to replace the battery.

Computer Has A Virus

If your computer is running slow with no other problems, then it could be from a virus. Viruses can be eliminated by downloading a program to find and eliminate viruses.

Cannot Connect To Internet

Internet connection goes in and out or cannot connect at all.

Dirty Or Damaged SIM Card

A dirty or damaged SIM card will not allow the device to read the SIM card. This will cause the computer to have difficulty and or not connect to wireless signals.

Faulty/Outdated Driver

With an outdated Driver, the computer will have difficulties signaling to the hard drive, USB port, network card, etc.

Faulty Wireless Card

A wireless card allows your computer to connect to the WIFI and if it is broken or has a short then you will not be able to connect.

Cannot Connet To Web Server

Faulty WLAN Card

A WLAN card allows the user to connect to local wireless networks. A faulty WLAN will drop the signal or will not allow the devices to connect.

Dirty or Damanged WWAN Card

The WWAN card allows the device to connect to the web and roam around. Any damage to the WWAN will not let the user connect to any browser.

Broken NIC

The NIC is a network provided interface card that allows the device to communicate with the network. I faulty NIC will not allow any interaction with the communal network.

Screen Is Not Working

The screen has no image, has a distorted image or screen goes blue.

Cracked Screen

If there is a crack in the screen and part of it is malfunctioning then there needs to be a full-screen replacement. Cracks could be small and hard to notice. Don’t rub your fingers across the screen when checking or you could cut yourself.

Distorted Image

Icons, images or display doesn’t appear correctly. If there has been a magnet or strong electronic device close to the screen then there may by a distorted or discoloring in the screen. Another possible problem could be a broken pixel which would appear as a small white square.

Screen Goes Blue

If your screen goes blue, it is probably caused by a virus your computer got. If that happens you will need to get a virus protection program to help remove the virus or go to an electronics store and have it restored.

Keyboard Not Working

Keys Are Jammed

If a key on your keyboard is jammed then you can wiggle it lose or take a small tool to pop the key back.

Disconnect/Water-damage

If there is water damage to your keyboard then you will need a full replacement of it. If it is disconnected then a key will either keep typing or not work in general.

Dirty/Obstructed Keys

If there is a foreign object in the way of the key(s) it could prevent the key(s) from making contact with the keyboard.
