Fan is clogged or damaged

Look over the fan to ensure there aren’t any cracks, chips, or buildup of dust. If dust is found, remove the fan casing and clean it with an ESD-safe brush and compressed air. If damage is found, purchase a replacement fan, then follow this guide.

Dirty or damaged air filter

Inspect the filter for a build-up of dust and debris. Once the build-up is found, try blowing or tapping off excess dust. If the filter appears damaged, consider replacement. Check out this simple guide to replace your air filter.

Dim image projection

Brightness settings are too low

Check settings to ensure brightness is at the desired setting. Adjust the brightness to its max capacity to see if the issue is related to the brightness setting.

Incorrect image source

Ensure that you are connected to the correct device via the image source button; this allows you to switch between image input from different devices connected to the projector. To make sure you are connected to the correct device, press "source search" on the top row of the remote, or next to the power button on the projector. Search through the options until you find the name of the device you would like to project from.

Ensure the power light on the projector is green and not flashing. If the power light is flashing red, this means there is an internal error in the projector. Try to power off the projector, unplug it, plug it back in, and power it on once more.

Incorrect image source selected

To make sure you are connected to the correct device, press "source search" on the top row of the remote, or next to the power button on the projector. Search through the options until you find the name of the device you would like to project from.

Distorted color projection

The colors projected are incorrect from the desired projection.

Color settings need adjustment

When displaying video, adjust the settings for color saturation and tint; contrast and brightness can also be changed. On the remote, locate the "color mode" button under the volume buttons, then adjust it until you are satisfied with the image color. If you are projecting with a computer or RGB video images, the default color mode is labeled "Presentation."
