There's a lot of variables that could be the cause of this. First, unplug the power from the power supply and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds to drain the power completely. Plug the power cord back in and try to power the PC on. If that does not work, we need to go component by component. (1) Reset your memory. (2) Unplug anything that isnt necessary for the PC to boot/post (any external drives, printers, wifi dongles etc.) (3) Try to turn the PC back on.
Plus d'informationEven though your screen isn't cracked your OLED panel is. If you are comfortable learning, then there's no other better way to learn than with your own device. I tried finding a guide on iFixit, but didnt find one. Search YouTube, find a good repair video, and if it looks like it's too much for you then take it to a local repair shop. The trickiest part of Android repairs is pulling the battery without damaging the phone or the battery.
Plus d'informationMore than likely you received a bad part. White lines are indicative of a bad panel which should be covered by your screen supplier as long as there is no physical damage.
Plus d'informationNo other home button will return touch ID functionality other than the original home button that came with your phone. Does the button look damaged? If not, it could be the cable or connector that plugs into the home button is damaged. This isnt usually the case, but it’s worth a shot to remove the original home button from the screen and install it on a new screen to test. If that does not work, the only option to regain touch ID functionality it to take it to an Apple store. In the past, they have been able to replace the home button and reprogram it to restore touch ID functionality.
Plus d'informationWas the wall plug also from the dollar store? If so, more than likely the charge ic was blown. It requires micro soldering and since it’s 6 years old, it’s probably not worth fixing.
Plus d'informationI’ve always used Tesa tape brand (link below) with excellent results. Its the right thickness and holds very well. I mostly use 2 and 4 mm. Tesa 61395 Tape
Plus d'informationRice doesn’t work. It’s a myth. You need to stop trying to turn it on and off. This can cause irreparable damage. You need to open the phone and properly dry it out and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. If you are uncomfortable doing this, find a reputable shop to properly dry it out.
Plus d'informationYou are on the right track, but remember the logic board has to relay the touch info to the processor and the screen is plugged into the logic board. If the board took a big impact and any traces were broken during the impact, then you may be out of luck. I don’t micro solder so I don’t know if there are any fuses etc that can go out or need to be replaced, but your issue is more than likely a board-level issue. Id find someone reputable to send it to.
Plus d'informationIn all fairness, your device is 10 years old. Are you certain these apps are compatible with your version of Android OS? Newer cheap Android tablets are available for 30 and 40 bucks now. I dont jump to buy new too often, but in this case you’d be better off getting something else.
Plus d'informationNo, they are totally different buttons structurally.
