The speaker will either not charge or has a very short battery life.

Often times, dust and debris get caught in the port and causes poor connection between the port and the adapter. You can clean out the port by blowing gently into the port opening to clear out dust. If this does not work, carefully try using a can of compressed air to clean it out.

If the issue seems to lie with the power adapter, first check your power source (like the wall outlet) and make sure there is electricity present by plugging in a different device you know to be working. Also, check the cable or the connector for any visible damage. If it appears that the adapter is damaged, replace it with a new one.

Over time, the battery may have deteriorated and therefore lost it's ability to hold a charge. If this is the case, follow this guide to replace your battery.

Audio coming from the speakers is distorted by static, clicking noises, or humming. Audio may also be hard or impossible to hear.

Make sure the two devices are within Bluetooth range (average is 10 meters). If not, move them closer until they reconnect. If they do not reconnect and the connecting device is known to have working Bluetooth, the circuit board in the speaker may need to be replaced, which is explained in this guide, or the Bluetooth antenna may need replacing, which is shown in this guide.

The speakers could be dirty or clogged with dust that could alter the sound quality. If this is the case, try gently wiping dust and dirt away with a non-alcohol based cleaner and a paper towel.

If there is no sound, the speakers are most likely broken, whether it is the speaker itself or because the rubber foam is damaged due to wear and tear or drying out. Both of these issues would cause distorted audio or no audio to be present. Follow this guide to replace the speakers. If the speakers seem to be in good condition (i.e. not damaged rubber), the problem is most likely in the circuit board. Follow this guide to replace the circuit board.

One or more of the control buttons does not function (i.e. won't change volume, power on or off, connect to Bluetooth).

One or more buttons is unresponsive and fails to operate correctly. It is likely to be a faulty control board, so to replace it, follow this guide.

Overuse of the buttons may cause them to wear out the rubber and therefore won't function correctly. The proper contact needed between the control board and the buttons is no longer there, so the rubber button ring would need replacing. Follow this guide to do so.
