Tablet won't turn on
Tablet does not turn on.
Bad or dead battery
The battery may be drained and will need to be recharged. Plug in the tablet charging cord and allow it to charge for a few minutes before powering on. If the tablet still does not turn on, the battery is most likely bad and will need to be replaced. The battery info can be found and replaced through the Polaroid S10 Battery Replacement.
Hold power button
Press and hold the power button to turn power on.
Tablet will not charge or hold a charge
Tablet is plugged in, but will not charge or hold charge.

Charger is broken
The best solution to fix a broken charger is to replace the charger and make sure it fits in the charger requirements of an n-barrel 2.5x0.7mm 5v charger.
Charging port is dirty
The best way to clean the charging port is to get a q-tip cut the cotton part in half and with a dab of rubbing alcohol and gently clean the port.
Tablet will not update or upgrade software
Tablet software is unable to install or update.
No network connection
The tablet software may be unable to install or update because you could be lacking any connection to the internet. Double check your internet connection by turning off your modem for a couple of minutes and then turning it back on. If the tablet is still unresponsive to updates, try turning the tablet off then on again.
Not enough device storage
The tablet software may not be able to be installed due to the lack of storage space available. The solution to fix this problem is to go into settings and either open storage and delete items to free up space. Another solution is to go into application manager and delete apps to free enough space. The last solution to this problem is to insert a micro-SD card and transfer as much content as you can to the SD card to free enough hardware space to update the software.
Not compatible device
The tablet may be incompatible with the newest update available. Polaroid will have to make the update available to the tablet.
Tablet will not uninstall pre-installed apps
Tablet will not uninstall pre-installed applications.
Pre-installed will not remove
Pre-installed applications are not possible to uninstall from the device due to being a part of the factory set firmware.
Turning off pre-installed apps
Pre-installed applications are capable of being turned off through the settings on the device. The option to turn them off will be under the active applications option in the settings application.
USB port is broken
The USB port on the tablet does not register the USB cord.
Incorrect USB cord
Tablet not the right voltage to charge the tablet. Look for a specific voltage and size of required for the tablet.
USB port is dirty
Check to see with can air spray to see if you are able remove the dirt from the USB port.
Stopped saving the pictures taken
Pictures captured are not able to be saved.
Not enough device storage
Limited amount of space to save data. Look at other options to save more data.
Adding a micro-SD card
In using the micro-SD storage gives person more access to save more data in a different location. In addition save different pictures on the SD card, and delete the pictures from the tablet.
Screen is broken
The screen is cracked or is permanently black.
Touch screen is cracked and unresponsive

Restarting device
The tablet can be restarted by holding the power button for 10 seconds. If the power button is held for more than 10 seconds the device will turn off and the power button will need to be pressed again to turn on the device.
Tablet is slow
The tablet does not respond immediately.
Not enough storage
The best way to fix this problem is by freeing up the storage by going into setting and under the storage tab to erase any unnecessary memory or insert an sd card or increase the size of the sd card to increase storage size.
Too many active apps
Your tablet may be unresponsive or slow due to too many applications being open at once. Try closing all of the applications that you are not currently using in order to help the tablet utilize its processing power more efficiently.
Using a micro-sd card for storage
To install the micro-sd card the card must be inserted into the micro-sd card slot and the tablet will recognize the storage card. After the installation and recognition of the card the tablet can use the storage space.
After 500MB the device asks to remove other apps
Tablet does not have enough space to install applications.
Not enough storage
Look at hiding the applications you are not using on tablet. Due to not able to uninstall preinstalled software. In addition should be able delete applications that were installed by applicate to increase savable space.
Micro-SD card installation
In installing the micro-SD card to SD port will increase the amount of storage one can use. Plus, one is able to save more data on different Micro-SD card. The only thing with saving the data on different SD cards make sure you are documenting what is saved on the SD card. This will save you time in looking for certain projects.
Tablet becomes frozen or unresponsive
Tablet is unresponsive to inputs with the screen being on or off and will not change.
Low battery
Tablet may be unresponsive because of a low battery. Plug the tablet in to attempt to charge it up to 100% battery charge. If the tablet is still frozen or unresponsive, turn it off and on again with the tablet still plugged into a power source so that it is still charging throughout the process.
Restart the tablet
The tablet can be restarted by holding the power button for 10 seconds. If the power button is held for more than 10 seconds the device will turn off and the power button will need to be pressed again to turn on the device.
Water damage
Place the tablet in a large bag of rice for a few hours and try to turn the device back on after that. The rice should absorb the water from the device.
