Background
The Dell Inspiron 14 N4050, or just simply Dell Inspiron N4050, was released in May of 2011. It houses a 2nd generation Intel Core i3 processor and was manufactured for the regular, everyday consumer that might need a laptop. The Inspiron line of laptops started around the late 90s, and there had been a few amounts of issues in the early 2000s leading to a class-action lawsuit and some recalls, yet these issues seem to have been corrected before the release of this model. This is sort of where a lot of the information ends, however, as the timeline for this brand is a bit muddled and the family line itself is incomplete on the Wikipedia page.
Identification
The beauty of Dell laptops is that they typically have a label on the bottom of the device on which you can find the series name and model number. With that in mind, this will also be the case with this laptop. For a visual example, please see the "How to Locate Dell Laptop Model" under the addition information section of this guide.
