L'appareil ne marche pas
L'enceinte ne produit pas de son ou ne s'allume pas.
L'appareil est allumé
Essayez d'appuyer sur le bouton de marche en haut de l'appareil. Les voyants avant s'allument si l'appareil est allumé.
Il n'y a pas de connexion Bluetooth
Vérifiez que l'enceinte et votre périphérique sont couplés. Essayez de déconnecter et reconnecter chacun d'entre eux. Une fois que les deux sont couplés, vérifiez que le volume est allumé sur chacun. Si cela ne résout pas le problème, redémarrez l'enceinte et réessayez.
Code reset : Allumez l'appareil et appuyez simultanément sur les boutons "Volume +" et "Lecture/Pause" jusqu'à ce que le voyant du bouton de marche s'allume.
Si votre périphérique ne se connecte toujours pas à l'enceinte, il se peut que la puce Bluetooth soit défectueuse et que vous deviez remplacer la carte mère. Consultez notre tutoriel de remplacement de la carte mère.
La batterie est vide
Branchez votre JBL Charge 3 et vérifiez que les voyants avant s'allument. Ils indiquent que l'enceinte charge. Si ce n'est pas le cas, vous devez peut-être remplacer la batterie.
Le bouton de marche est défectueux
Vérifiez d'abord que l'appareil est chargé. Si c'est le cas et qu'il ne s'allume toujours pas, le mécanisme du bouton de marche est peut-être usé ou cassé. Consultez notre tutoriel de remplacement du bouton.
L'appareil ne charge pas ou ne tient pas la charge
L'enceinte ne s'allume pas ou s'éteint très vite.
Le port de charge est cassé
Effectuez le diagnostic de la plaque des ports ci-dessous.
La batterie est défectueuse ou doit être remplacée
Si la batterie ne charge pas ou s'éteint de façon inattendue, vous devez peut-être la remplacer. Assurez-vous qu'il s'agit d'un problème persistant avant de la remplacer. Si votre enceinte est par exemple exposée à des températures anormales, elle risque de se vider plus vite que d'habitude. Si cela persiste, consultez notre tutoriel de remplacement de la batterie.
Un des 3 ports (AUX, USB et Micro USB) ne fonctionne pas
Vous n'arrivez pas à charger l'enceinte, à vous en servir comme power bank ou à l'utiliser avec un câble audio.
Le câble est défectueux
Vérifiez que chaque câble que vous utilisez fonctionne avec un autre appareil. Essayez d'en utiliser un autre avec votre Charge 3 pour voir si le problème persiste.
Les ports sont défectueux
Si un des trois ports ne marche pas avec un câble correspondant fonctionnel, il faudra peut-être remplacer la plaque des ports.
Le son de l'enceinte est déformé
Le son audio est déformé ou feutré.
Le mode audio sélectionné n'est pas le bon
La Charge 3 a de multiples préconfigurations audio. Peut-être qu'une d'elles a été sélectionnée accidentellement. Essayez de réinitialiser l'enceinte. Il est recommandé de garder le mode préconfiguré pour la lecture standard de musique.
Code reset : Allumez l'appareil et appuyez simultanément sur les boutons "Volume +" et "Lecture/Pause" jusqu'à ce que le voyant du bouton de marche s'allume.
Les haut-parleurs sont défectueux
Si le son est déformé, peut-être que les haut-parleurs sont "essouflés". Consultez notre tutoriel de remplacement des haut-parleurs. Évitez d'écouter des morceaux à la basse prononcée en mettant le volume trop fort afin de ne pas endommager votre enceinte.
Les boutons ne marchent plus correctement
Un ou plusieurs des boutons ne réagit pas quand on appuie dessus.
Le compartiment du bouton est usé ou encombré.
Si un ou plusieurs des boutons ne marche pas, sa membrane a peut-être été endommagée. Cela peut également résulter d'un usage long ou intensif. Consultez notre tutoriel de remplacement du bouton.

Hey there,
Your motherboard is probably gone.
As my charge 3 had the same symptons and after i send it to repair they told me in the repair sheet that the motherboard was replaced.

My JBL Charge3 speaker is pausing the music irrespective of app/website. It will play music smoothly for sometime like half an hour but after that it keeps pausing the music.
Facing issue when playing music through my laptop(MacBook Pro) and cellphone (oneplus 5).
Any suggestions how to fix it?

Could be a battery problem. Did you check the battery? What is the battery voltage? Is it bulgy? How about the battery connector? Are the solder joints still good?

Pressed “connect” and “volume -” buttons for 10 seconds, the speaker stopped responding to commands! Cant get it working for couple of days now. when connected with usb power button lights up, that is the only reaction i was able to get. Is there an solution?
I have tried randomly pressing all the buttons and combinations but nothing…HELP :)

My jbl charge 3 will charge then start blinking all 5 lights. Once unplugged and connected to my phone the battery drops to indicate 3 of the leds. It will play for about 30 minutes then sound very distorted for a bit and shut down. Please help, I’ve torn the unit down and found no obvious damage ie: broken cables or anything.

my box connects to my phone and it still makes the on and connection sounds and when i play sound it just doenst play it but i can still pause and unpause the sounds with the play pause buttons. ive tried different devices and ive reset it multiple times but it doesnt help. in essence it does everything it should except for actually palying the sound although i know the sound works fine because all the preprogrammed sounds play just fine.

What will I do if my jbl charge 3 is not charging well.It would just show that it is fully charge but once i use it its only good for a day unlike before that it take weeks..I no longer have the cable but I think its not the cables problem since im not using the original cable for a long time.Not sure what happen

I replaced the battery in my JBL Charge 3, now it wont charge. When plugged in and powered off, the indicators are blank. When plugged in, and the power button is pushed, the charging indicator will flash all, switch to one white light, then the one light turns red, and the speaker powers off. While unplugged, it does nothing. The battery is for the 2016 version, which matches my speaker. Anyone, please help.

Hi. I have a situation and didnt find any answer for it on internet. My JBL Charge 3 conect on laptop only in “Hands Free AG Audio” wich is mono. Usualy it was connected as “JBL Charge 3 Voice” and was stereo. I updatep drivers, i unistalled and reinstalled it, i reseted the JBL C3 in factory mode, nothing changes… Any idea what should i do ? The power button and Bluetooth button are white after pressing Bluetooth button. I have 2 but this one will not connect via Bluetooth either. If I turn on the other speaker it will then play ok. It is not pairing via the new JBL app which I regret downloading . Bought in the USA about two years ago. Now living in Thailand. (Crematoria) Can it be the heat? The other speaker has no problems. Please help!

my chargue 3 has literally one day of use, I have not dropped or wet it, but for some reason, when connected, the buttons do not work, I can not handle the volume from the device, I can not turn it off, unless force it by pressing the on button for about 10 seconds. My 2016 model JBL charge 3 will not charge (tried different cables). The only light that shows is a flashing red light, which flashes only when I power up ( makes the ‘power on ‘sound). If I leave the device Power off, and try to charge it, no lights come on. If I try to charge it with power on, the same flashing red light displays, but that’s it. I tried the reset procedure and nothing happened. Does the battery need replacing OR is the charging port broken?

i reset charge 3. it does not have power unless the charge cable is connected. the power button will then light. the speaker will work but only if it is plugged in to charge cable. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THE WORLD. ARE WE UNDER COMMUNIST ATTACK OR WHAT.

My Charge 3 will suddenly shut off for no apparent reason - the battery can be fully charged, the phone to which it’s connected is close by and no other Bluetooth devices are trying to connect. It will restart as soon as I turn it back on but, clearly, something isn’t right.

I had the problem of my charge 3 not turning on anymore and not charging.
If you have this the problem is the motherboard (probably dead). So what I sugest is to replace the motherboard ofcourse.

I had the same problem with mine, I held the two center rubber buttons for around 10 seconds, and then it made the turning on sound and works fine now.

Bonjour,
Mon enceinte JBL flip 3 ne s'allume qu'en étant branchée. En revanche, une fois allumée je peux la débrancher et l'utiliser normalement, sans fil.
C'est une panne assez étrange car le bouton marche fonctionne bien, sinon il ne fonctionnerait pas non plus une fois l'enceinte branchée, et ce n'est pas non plus un problème de batterie puisqu'une fois allumée je peux la débrancher et écouter ainsi de la musique pendant des heures.
Quelqu'un aurait-il une piste?

Will JBL replace the cube 3 since its the fault of the rubber waterproof seal that breaks the usb while charging? It places too much pressure on the charger when its plugged into the port. Which in turn loosens/breaks the usb port.

When JBL charge 3 does not want to charge it may not be a problem : leave it for 2 weeks and try to charge it in this order : plug charger , plug USB cable in charger the plug cable in JBL.
Seems that some electronics stop the HP to work if some electrons inside ❓
Found this after having left a non charging charge 3 for 18 months in some place , then few months ago I plug it and it charged 🙀
Now I try to keep it plugged : (it can be unplugged and work for hours but sometimes it may not charge again which leads to waiting 2 weeks before being able to charge again 😵💫

Even though this is an old model (been busy working in IT so ain't used it much so in tip-top condition!). Its a tad strange and a shame a great brand and device have not included a mute option. Googling gives the option of holiding volume up and down simulaneously. Doesn't work for me, even after a hard reset.

Hi, just got a JBL charge 3 which is more or less dead. It can be turned on and off, but nothing more happens. Means you press the ON butten and the LED will light up and then press the ON button again and the LED will go off.
There is no sound, it cannot be charged and it does not appear as a Bluetooth device in the smartphone or PC. I disassembled everything, and charged the battery externally with a LiFePo charger.
I also tried to reset it, but it does not work.
I could not identify anything obviously wrong with any of the components. I do suspect the mainboard has a problem. Maybe it could be fixed with a firmware update. However, the easy way via bluetooth does not work, because I cannot establish a connection. I suspect, a firmware update via USB would work, but I did not find a manual on how this could be done.
Tips and suggestions are welcome.

My charge 3 won't power on. 5 white lights light up and then off when I push the power button. If I push the volume down and the connect button simultaneously the number "three eight" is announced and one white light blinks 10 times while it is plugged in to the charge cord. Fixed several JBL's:
- LiPo battery fail. Replace the battery
- Inductor of boost converter loose from PCB. Just resolder it.
- 25mohm current sense resistor SMD type blown . JBL indicates it is charging, but it takes forever and is never full. Replace the resistor.

@Linda: seems a defective battery. Replacement is not difficult. Plenty YT video's explain how to do this.

Jbl Boxen sind von der Qualität schlechter als jeder 5 Euro China Lautsprecher hab 3 jbl Boxen alle kaputt die eine verzerrt der andere geht gar nicht und Nummer 3 lässt sich nur laden wenn die Box ausgeschaltet ist
